Does anyone know how to write a good thesis statement for the book "first they killed my father" by loung ung?
I have to write a 700-1000 word summary over the first 100 pages, and have no clue how to start my thesis statement. If anyone has read this book or just knows some tips on how to write a really good thesis it would be very helpful!! Thanks!

- Oooh, I loved that book! The sequel is incredible, too. In any case... I'd go with something like, "Innocent children that live in a country torn apart by war are forced to grow up much too quickly because they have to face experiences and bear burdens that no human being ever should." Or maybe something about how they are made innocent victims and are made to suffer by a war that they really know very little about.
